What we are
Signal & Echo is a small independent publisher in Connecticut. The books imprint publishes fiction, nonfiction, and short stories. The games imprint publishes single-player narrative games. Founded in 2026 by Chris Dowin.
The name describes the work. A signal is something a writer or designer puts into the world. An echo is what comes back when somebody hears it. We try to be useful at both ends.
The catalog is small on purpose — Signal & Echo exists to publish quality work from Chris and, when the work fits, from collaborators we trust.
Submissions
Submissions are closed for 2026. Authors with a proposal that feels like a fit can reach out at contact@signalandecho.com. We do not currently take unsolicited game pitches.
